Who is Fotis?
I am technology enthusiast with over 25 years of experience in ecommerce, aging back to 1999 when I opened my first webstore.
Since then I have held various managerial positions (General Manager, Chief Innovation, Director of eCommerce, etc.) in large organizations, such as Panathinaikos BC, ATCOM, Fais Group of Companies (Under Armour, Puma, Hogan), DPG Media (CNN, Queen, etc), Ancient Greek Sandals, etc.
I had the privilege to have been awarded with over 25 industry awards for my projects, amongst which the awards for ‘Digital Personality of the year’ (2023), ‘Digital Strategist of the Year‘ (2019), ‘Digital Manager of the Year (2016)’ , ‘eCommerce Manager of the Year‘ (2015) and the prestigious Platinum eVolution Award on eCommerce (2021). My agency, ConversionRate.gr, also won the award for ‘Best MarTech Agency 2024’, at the Digital Agencies Awards.
I have also served as a board member at the Greek eCommerce Association for over 7 years, 3 of which as the Chairman, and you will frequently catch me up as a keynote speaker on various ecommerce-related conferences and events.
Currently, I am advising blue-chip companies in the Retail Industry (focusing mostly on Fashion) and I am leading the only agency in Greece, 100%-dedicated to Conversion Rate Optimisation.
